This kitchen was an addition to an existing home
to allow for the family to grow.
The owners have four children
and needed the extra room, so they doubled the square footage of the home and it was well worth it.
The island features three surface levels!
The working surface is the lower level, and bar height surfaces are appropriate for bar stools for guests, and a final platform topper conceals the pots and pans from being seen from the adjacent dining and family areas as well adds a decor focal point!
The Thermador gas cooktop with telescopic downdraft
sit within a pot and pan drawer base
to allow easy access to cooking equipment.
A Scotsman ice machine is included!
Contemporary cabinetry fused with clean lines of architecture create a perfect everyday transitional design.
The focal point of the kitchen is the diagonal double ovens!
This created a more custom look to the design
as well as help blend the usually massive tower
into the space of the kitchen
without taking up traffic pattern space.
Decorative stainless pendants
illuminate the island from above.
The built-in pantry allows for tremendous storage
of items from the grocery.
Tumbled noce marble splash compliments
the Ubatuba granite countertops nicely.
Stainless GE Monogram refrigerator as seen on any NBC show (owned by GE so all shows have GE appliances!).
